Cableaway's Stainless Steel Recessed Lid Floor Outlet Boxes are designed for installations where a flush, seamless floor finish is required. The recessed lid sits below the surrounding floor covering, allowing your chosen floor finish to be inset into the lid itself so the box blends into the floor once installed. With both 14mm and 19mm recess depths available across the range, these boxes can accommodate nearly any floor finish — carpet, tile, timber, vinyl, or stone — giving specifiers and installers far more flexibility to match the box to the finished floor.

The range spans configurations from 2 to 6 power outlets and 4 to 10 data provisions, giving flexibility to match power and data density to the application. Standard depth and Shallow (50mm) carcass options are both available, with the shallow carcass suited to installations with limited sub-floor depth. The compact 145 and 245 Series offer smaller configurations, including options with integrated USB-A and USB-C charging outlets.

Also included in this range are the Endura Soft-Close recessed lid boxes, which use a soft-close hinge mechanism to stop the lid slamming shut, protecting connected leads and giving a smoother, quieter action in everyday use.

All boxes feature a stainless steel recessed lid section with a powder coated zinc annealed steel body, height-adjustable brackets to accommodate changes in finished floor level, and cable exit provisions for a clean, trip-hazard-free installation in offices, retail fitouts, and other commercial environments.
